Five Things: Sunshine, Smoothies and Sun Catchers

Here's a handful of things to keep in mind for today.

• The National Weather Service is predicting a moderate day, starting off with patchy fog and clearing to sun. Today's high will be around 77 degrees.
• The Westfield Century City mall hosts a free Wednesday Play Date for children today. From 2 to 4 p.m., kids can decorate sun catchers in the mall's center court.
• UCLA's Hammer Museum will host artist Peter Milton for a free and open-to-the-public lunchtime art talk today from 12:30 to 1 p.m.
• And here's a heads up for Saturday: Jamba Juice will be giving free Jamba Kids Smoothies to children 8 and younger from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Local Jamba Juice stores are at the Westfield Century City Mall, 10250 Santa Monica Blvd.; at the Westwood Gateway, 11074 Santa Monica Blvd., and at UCLA.
