UCLA Conducting Online and In-Person Classes Fall 2020
Amongst the widespread uncertainty, UCLA has announced a partial reopening for the Fall of 2020.

The COVID-19 pandemic has prompted college and university campus closures across California. As a result, many schools have moved their lectures and coursework entirely online. There is currently much debate surrounding schools reopening. Amongst the widespread uncertainty, UCLA has announced a partial reopening for the Fall of 2020.
UCLA has officially announced that most of its classes will be held online, with only 15-20% of classes being held in-person. Many of these in-person classes will be what is considered “Hybrid” classes, infusing online and in-person classes together.
On-campus housing will be deliberately tailored for a low-population density. Priority for on-campus housing will be based on family income, location of primary residence, and the student’s year. Dining halls will also be closed, to reduce the spread of the virus.
