Westwood Crime: Burglaries, Stolen Cars Reported

The following are crimes reported Nov. 29-Dec. 5 in the Westwood area. All information is according to the LAPD's Crime Mapping website, which aggregates daily crime reports directly from the police. Below are some of the reported crimes.

Burglary:

• 11 p.m. Dec. 3, 1500 block of Selby Avenue. 
• 7:30 a.m. Dec. 3, 1700 block of Malcolm Avenue.

Stolen car:

• 11:50 a.m. Dec. 3, 1100 block of Westwood Boulevard.
• Noon Dec. 2, 1600 block of Veteran Avenue.  

Theft/larceny:

• 11 p.m. Nov. 29, 10800 block of Weyburn Avenue. Petty theft - value of loss $950 and under.
• 8:28 a.m. Dec. 4, 10800 block of Weyburn Avenue. Petty theft - value of loss $950 and under.
• 7:30 a.m. Dec. 5, 1600 block of Selby Avenue. Petty theft - value of loss $950 and under.

Vehicle break-in/theft: 8:15 p.m. Nov. 29, 10900 block of Wilshire Boulevard. Burglary from vehicle.
