$20K Reward Offered for Info on Killer of Father, Son

The bodies of Walter Vicente, 49, and Andrew Vicente were discovered in their home last July. Both had been shot in the head.

LOS ANGELES, CA - The Board of Supervisors renewed a $10,000 reward Tuesday for information that helps solve the killings of a father and his 24-year- old son who were found shot to death in their Norwalk home.

Norwalk officials have offered an additional $10,000, bringing the total reward to $20,000.

Supervisor Don Knabe recommended reestablishing the county reward, which expired Jan. 24. It will now be in effect for at least the next 90 days.

The bodies of Walter Vicente, 49, and Andrew Vicente were discovered the evening of July 14, 2015, in the residence in the 12300 block of Gettysburg Drive. Both men had been shot in the head.

Authorities said Walter Vicente, a U.S. Army veteran, owned a plumbing company, and his son was working with him to learn the business.

At a December news conference, investigators said they were still searching for a motive and could find no one who bore the men any ill will. There were no signs of forced entry and neither man was involved with a gang, according to detectives.
