SigAlert: Crash Closes 605/91 Connector
An SUV driver fell asleep at the wheel near where the 605 and 91 Freeways connect, damaging 50-70 feet of guardrail, authorities said.

CERRITOS, CA – The connector road from the southbound San Gabriel River (605) Freeway on the CA-91 Freeway was shut down early Monday after an SUV driver fell asleep and damaged 50-70 feet of guardrail, authorities said.
The crash was reported just before 2 a.m. and the driver of the silver Acura RDX told the California Highway Patrol he fell asleep.
Caltrans was called to make repairs, and the connector road remained closed as of 6 a.m., the CHP said.
