RESULTS: Cerritos ABC School Board Election 2017

UPDATED AT 11:30 P.M. CERRITOS, CA – The results are in for the ABC Unified School Districts governing board member elections for Trustee Areas 3 in Cerritos. With three out of three precincts reporting, one candidate for the Trustee Area 3 ABC School Board election came out on top: H. Ernie Nishii with 39 percent of the vote.

Here are the current results for Cerritos, with three out of three precincts reporting:

1. H. Ernie Nishii 39% of the vote with 562 votes
2. Lynda P. Johnson 27.41% of the vote with 395 votes
3. Armin Reyes 24.64% of the vote with 355 votes
4. Daniel G. Fierro 8.95% of the vote with 129 votes

Polling has closed on this election day in Cerritos. In the City of Cerritos, three school board member seats out of seven are up for grabs. There were four candidates for Trustee Area 3 near Cerritos, and two candidates vying for the Trustee Area 6 spot near Lakewood. Check back to Patch for updated election results as they come in.
