Investigators from the Orange County Fire Authority are searching for whoever fired off bottle rockets on the Fourth of July that burned a Buena Park home and heavily damaged its wood shake roof, a fire authority spokesman said.
"It's still under investigation," said OCFA spokesman Division Chief Kris Concepcion. "But they're bottle rockets, so it's clear they were fired from the neighborhood where the house was burned."
The fire broke out around 10:30 p.m. Thursday at 8219 Joshua Circle, said OCFA Battalion Chief Anthony Espinosa.

"When Orange County and Anaheim units arrived at the scene, they encountered heavy fire on the roof," Espinosa said. "It was a shake shingle roof, perfect condition for bottle rockets, fireworks," he said.
"It appears the fire started as a possible bottle rocket," Espinosa said. "There was debris scattered all over the place."
