SPONSORS PLAY KEY ROLE IN 2014 ABC INTO THE SUMMER FUN RUN

The ABC Education Foundation has announced that its Sponsor Drive for the ABC Into the Summer Fun Run 2014 has already reached 75% of its 2014 goal, thanks to early sponsor pledges and sponsor grants. While the deadline to receive all marketing benefits for Fun Run sponsors was May 23, 2014, there are still great opportunities for potential sponsors to participate in marketing activities and as a wellness fair vendor.

"Every dollar raised by the Fun Run is a dollar for our children," stated Cindy Yen Chen, President of the Foundation.  "These early Sponsors are key to ensuring the Foundation’s goal to provide the financial resources needed to ensure every ABC student succeeds." 

Sponsors that have already committed to support the ABC Education Foundation Fun Run 2014 includes   Platinum sponsor, Los Cerritos Center, which is providing the location and staff support for Fun Run 2014.

The Los Cerritos Community News has signed up again as Media sponsor and will return 30% of all advertising revenues from a special June 7th Fun Run insert to the ABC Education Foundation.

This year's Fun Run will be held at the Los Cerritos Center shopping mall on June 21, 2014 and features a 5K run/walk starting at 7:45 a.m.; a 2K run/walk at 9 a.m. and a Kid’s Run starting at 9:45 a.m.  Everyone who participates will receive medals.  Trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd  place finishers by age/gender categories and Best Team Perpetual trophies will be awarded for the 5K.
