Suspect Sought In Fatal Artesia Shooting

A man died at a hospital Friday morning from injuries he sustained in the shooting.

ARTESIA, CA — A man died Friday morning at a hospital from injuries he sustained in an Artesia shooting, and the suspect remained at large.

The shooting occurred on the corner of 167th Street and Clarkdale Avenue at 12:08 a.m., according to Deputy Marvin Crowder of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

The victim was taken to a hospital, where he died, Crowder said.

A motive for the shooting was not disclosed.

Anyone who witnessed this shooting was asked to call the sheriff's Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500.
