Two Arrested in Foiled Home Invasion Robbery in Bellflower

According to reports, three gunmen followed the victims home from a casino.

Two of three gunmen, who reportedly followed a woman to her Bellflower home from a casino Friday night, were in sheriff's custody today and the third intruder remained at large.

According to Lakewood Sherrif's Station deputies:

Deputies were summoned to a residence in the 9100 block of Mayne Street about 9:20 p.m. Friday on a report of an armed robbery in progress, and upon their arrival, the suspects fled, climbing a back yard fence and going into a yard with an Olive Street address.

A search of the area, with assistance from a K-9 unit, helped deputies capture two of the suspects. Two guns were also recovered, according to the sheriff's station. The third suspect was still being sought as of early Saturday.

The two victims told deputies that the three men got into the home, duct- taped their hands together, then fled as deputies were arriving. A family member in another part of the residence called 911 to report the intruders.
