Camp Fire: List Of Properties Destroyed In Paradise Released

Town officials released a partial list of the homes and buildings destroyed in the massive blaze.

PARADISE, CA -- Paradise town officials on Sunday released a partial list of buildings and residences that have been destroyed in the deadly Camp Fire that has scorched 113,000 acres.

One of the deadliest wildfires in California history, which took the lives of at least 29 people, officials said the blaze burned through 6,400 residences and 260 commercial structures.

The list, posted publicly online, has about 600 structures that were destroyed in the fire. Officials warned residents that it may not be "100 percent accurate" but employees are quickly working to provide information.

The Camp Fire erupted Thursday morning in Butte County, rapidly spreading through the region with the help of strong winds and low humidity. It is one of two deadly wildfires to spark in recent days with the second being the Woolsey Fire in Ventura and Los Angeles counties. That fire killed two people and burned more than 170 structures.

The Camp Fire is expected to be contained at the end of the month if weather conditions improve.
