Chico’s 4th Of July Fireworks 2020 Canceled

CHICO, CA – July 4 events across the country will not look the same this year thanks to the coronavirus. Many cities and towns have been forced to cancel the annual Fourth of July events, including Chico. The Fast Cars and Freedom on July 4th at Silver Dollar Freeway has been canceled.

“We continue and try to work within the guidelines given,” said business manager Dennis Gage in a news release. “Until we hear otherwise, we regret to inform all of our fans and racers that the month of June and first part of July needs to be cancelled.”
