Legendary Skateboarder Tony Hawk Spotted In Chico
Tony Hawk made a surprise appearance at a northern California park.

CHICO, CA -- Chico residents were pleasantly surprised this week after legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk made an appearance at a new park. Actions News Now reported Hawk skated at Humboldt Skate Park for about an hour.
"When I was a kid, Tony Hawk was just the man," Brian Garner told Actions News Now after spotting The Birdman. "He had the video game, he had his own clothing company, and he did the 900 in the X Games which nobody had ever done before."
Carter Perry told the news station, "I think it was pretty cool he posted it on his Instagram, he has at least one million followers. It's pretty cool that he was able to come down to Chico and check out the new park."
