Vance Fire Burns Almost 4 Acres In Butte County: Cal Fire
Fire crews are mopping up after the Vance Fire.
BUTTE COUNTY, CA — Fire crews quickly contained a vegetation fire that burned about 3.6 acres off Larkin Road, south of Oroville in Butte County, Cal Fire said on Twitter Friday afternoon.
Cal Fire responded to the Vance Fire, as authorities have dubbed the blaze, at 3:07 p.m., KRCR reported. The fire's forward progress had been stopped by 4:47 p.m. At 7:27 p.m. Cal Fire issued a final update, saying it had been 65 percent contained.
