2 Citrus Killings: One at McDonald's & One on Stonehand Ave.

The suspects in the McDonald's killing were described as "hispanic or light-skinned black men" by the Citrus Heights Police Department.

There were two homicides in Citrus Heights this weekend, both within 12 hours of each other. The first was in a McDonald's parking lot. 

The victim was sitting in a parked truck outside the restaurant when two men arrived and shot him, according to the Citrus Heights Police Department. When police arrived, they found the man dead, with the two suspects still at large. 

The suspects were described as "Hispanic or light-skinned black men" by the Citrus Heights Police Department. The suspects drove away in a dark-colored sedan. Descriptions were provided by a relative who was with the victim at the time of the killing.

A second killing took place at the 6300 block of Stonehand Avenue around 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, according to the Sacramento Bee: 

Officers arrived to find a man unconscious outside of his home. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Sacramento County Coroner's Office identified the victim as Jack Swaim, 52.
