Auburn Boulevard Construction will Reduce Lanes Beginning Monday

For the next four days a portion of Auburn Boulevard will be reduced to one lane of traffic.

Nighttime commuters can expect traffic delays along a portion of Auburn Boulevard beginning Monday, Dec. 10 through Dec. 14 as part of the Revitilization Project currently underway.

According to a press statement released by the City of Citrus Heights, night work has been scheduled for the intersection of Auburn Blvd. and Antelope Road. As a result, traffic in all four lanes will be reduced to just one lane.

The work is expected to last from 8:30 p.m. till 6 a.m. on each of the days.

The Revitalization Project itself is not expected to be completed till 2013, according to Citrus Heights General Services Department officials.

According to officials, it's uncertain if this work will be the last to be done to this portion of the Auburn Blvd. revitalization.
