Citrus Heights Accused Child Molester: PD Suspects More Victims

CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA — A Citrus Heights man has been arrested on suspicion of 25 counts of child molestation spanning several years, and police said they suspect there may be additional victims.

Police began investigating Jason Earl Hook, a 43-year-old Citrus Heights resident, for child molestation in September. That investigation turned up several other victims, with incidents as far back as 2008, Citrus Heights police said in a release.

Hook personally knew all his victims, who police said were both males and females between 8 and 17 years old. Hook was arrested on Sept. 27 and is being held at the Sacramento County Jail.

Police are asking for the public's help in finding additional victims, noting that Hook lived on Birdcage Street in Citrus Heights, and taught after-school light saber classes for Sunrise Community Church and San Juan High School.
