Funded by a grant from the State Department of Housing and Community Development, the City’s PRADU program provides free, pre-approved plans for accessory dwelling units, saving Citrus Heights residents an estimated $7,000. The plans can be viewed on the City’s website: http://citrusheights.net/1108/Permit-Ready-ADU-Program. This new program eliminates the need to hire an architect, saves time on plan review, and saves money on fees.
