With State and County COVID-19 restrictions lifted on June 15, Citrus Heights restaurants, shopping centers, and other businesses are reopening without capacity limits, face coverings*, or social distancing required for patrons. As California reopens, COVID-19 vaccines remain an important part of ensuring safety in our community and ending the pandemic.

To help, the City of Citrus Heights and Sutter Health are partnering to host a free Pfizer vaccine clinic at the Citrus Heights Community Center (6300 Fountain Square Drive) on Saturday, June 26 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., open to anyone ages 12+. Click here to view/download the vaccine clinic flyer and here to pre-register (which is helpful, but not required). Walk-ins are welcome!If you're unable to attend the Citrus Heights vaccine clinic on Saturday, June 26, visit the County's vaccination page for other vaccination sites and dates in the region.

*Please note, the California Department of Public Health still mandates that those who are not vaccinated are required to wear face coverings when indoors in public settings. All individuals, vaccinated or not, are required to wear masks when visiting indoor K-12 schools or indoor childcare settings, healthcare facilities (including vaccine pop-up clinics), homeless shelters, emergency centers (like cooling centers), and on public transit.Â
