The sobriety checkpoint is part of a summer and Labor Day campaign.

A DUI checkpoint will be set up in Citrus Heights tonight, Saturday, Aug. 25 as part of an 18-day summer and Labor Day campaign.

Already the national campaign has resulted in 132 arrests for driving under the influence in Sacramento County between Aug. 17-23, according to a California Avoid news release. There have been no reported DUI deaths.

There will be extra DUI saturation patrols in Citrus Heights and Elk Grove Saturday night and in Elk Grove again Sunday night.
