Garage Sales: Multi-Family Sale and Help Cure Type 1 Diabetes

This weekend's weather will be ideal for scouting out local garage sales.

If you're hitting local garage sales this weekend, here are some local garage sales happening this weekend (Aug. 24-25) in and around Citrus Heights (found on Craigslist):

Dogwood Way Sale: At 7901 Dogwood Way, starting at 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The sale is due to a foreclosure and its owner is selling off "everything you can imagine." Feel free to call 916-289-3877 for more details.

Calvin Drive Sale: At 7148 Calvin Drive, the time and dates aren't specified, but items include maternity clothes, baby and toddler clothes, toys and a playhouse.

Dalmeny Way Sale: At 8412 Dalmeny Way, at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, this multi-family sale will include toys, baby furniture, baby and kids clothes, junior and plus-size clothes, shoes, tools, tires, a dining table, movies, books and more.

Spring Valley Avenue Sale: At 7813 Spring Valley Ave., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., this sale will include furniture, electronics, baby clothes, a wine fridge, dishes and kitchen items, bedding, newer DVDs and sports items.

Fair Way Sale: At 8417 Fair Way, Saturday starting at 7 a.m., this sale is a fundraiser to help a parent find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes. "My son just turned 6 and was diagnosed with this at 18 months," the post states. There will be a variety of items for sale, which people have donated.
