Suspects Steal Car During Road Rage Incident in Citrus Heights

The vehicle and one of the suspect were found in Carmichael.

Three suspects were arrested in connection with a carjacking during a road rage incident in Citrus Heights Sept. 28.

Around 3 p.m., two men, 33-year-old David Isaac and 23-year-old Christopher Long, reportedly cornered a victim after a road rage incident near Lichen and Camelwood drives in Citrus Heights. Long allegedly stole the victim's car, a Honda sedan, according to Citrus Heights Police. 

A witness saw what happened, wrote down the license plate of Isaac's vehicle and contacted police with a description of the suspects.

Isaac, in another stolen car, a Ford SUV, was located and arrested nearby. A passenger, Shantaylah Castner, 18,, was found in possession of illegal drugs and arrested. 

Items believed to have been stolen during local burglaries were also found in the vehicle.

Long, and the stolen Honda sedan, were located in the 5800 block of Garden Park Court in Carmichael. Long was reportedly in the process of stripping the vehicle when officers arrived and arrested him. 

All three were booked into Sacramento County Jail.
