Temperatures to Reach 111 Degrees in Citrus Heights Saturday

Grab your sunscreen and a seat by the pool: It's going to be a hot weekend in the Sacramento area. 

The National Weather Service alerts residents to hot weather forecasted this weekend with temperatures expected to range from 100-115 degrees in the area.  

In Citrus Heights, it’s expected to reach 105 degrees Friday and 111 degrees Saturday.  Temperatures may reach record highs, according to the National Weather Service.  

For today through Thursday, temperatures will be in the low- to mid-90s in Citrus Heights.
