Workers Find Human Bones At California Home
The bones were found in December but after an investigation, detectives believe the person was killed in 2015.

SACRAMENTO, CA -- A man was arrested in Sacramento County recently after deputies found human remains in a backyard. The remains, which were found by workers renovating the home, were discovered on Dec. 26 in the 6200 block of Dundee Drive within the north area of Sacramento County.
After investigating the bones, deputies believe the person was murdered in the summer of 2015. There were no other human remains on the property, deputies said.
On Jan. 5, deputies arrested Michael Christopher Sager, 22, for the alleged murder of the victim. Sager was booked into custody at the Sacramento County Main Jail is ineligible for bail due to his charges.

Investigators believe the victim and Sager were involved in a verbal argument, which led to Sager stabbing the victim, ultimately killing him. The identity of the victim, in this case, will be made available by the Sacramento County Coroner’s office.
