From the bottom of our hearts, the Claremont Senior Program would like to thank the following groups for their sustained support throughout the past 16 months of the COVID-19 pandemic:

  • AgingNext, whose volunteers and staff diligently and cheerfully delivered our meal kits each week to seniors who had to or preferred to remain safely at home;
  • Claremont Gerontology Association, a group of dedicated students from the Claremont Colleges who created and provided free workshops to seniors on how to use Zoom, iPhone photography, and the War & Existentialism Book Club;
  • Claremont High's National Honor Society and Webb School's Interact Club, who created heartfelt, handmade cards for participants of our Emergency Senior Meal Program for various holidays throughout the year;
  • Claremont's Committee on Aging, who assisted with the development of our virtual programming and continued to support our program; and
  • Claremont Senior Foundation, Inc., who supported our annual fundraising efforts and facilitated a successful fundraising year, despite the challenges of an ongoing pandemic.
