Claremont Band Coach Suspected Of Sex Crime With Teenage Boy
Claremont police learned that Daniel Gonzales, met the teenager while working at the Claremont High School as a band coach.

CLAREMONT, CA —A former Claremont High School Band Coach was arrested after being accused of an inappropriate relationship with a 17-year-old boy. Now, police are seeing additional victims or witnesses in this case.
In early September, Claremont police learned that Daniel Gonzales, 25 of Montclair, had met the teenager while he worked at the Claremont High School as a band coach. Police and the teen worked together to reach out to Gonzales, which led to his arrest, police say.
"On Wednesday, at approximately 5:30 p.m., Gonzales agreed to meet the teen in Claremont," Claremont Police Sgt. Robert Ewing said. "When he arrived at the meet point, rather than finding the 17-year-old, Gonzales walked in on Claremont Police Detectives, who then took him into custody."
