May 13, 2021
We are pleased to present the Claremont Gerontology Association's new podcast series, “Catching COVID Vaccines,” which aims to demystify COVID-19, vaccine development, and distribution. Each podcast episode will feature the perspective of a Claremont Colleges professor. Joining us in the first episode is Professor Jane T. Liu, an Associate Professor of Chemistry at Pomona College, who will help us to understand the effectiveness and science behind COVID-19 vaccines. CGA would like to thank the Claremont Senior Program, Esther Adeniji (SC’22) for editing the podcast recording, and the professors and students who have dedicated their time and support to making this project possible. Please note that this episode was recorded on March 8, 2021, and that the CDC has shared many more details about COVID-19 since the time of this interview.
