Claremont Cops Seek Suspect Monday

Police helicopters circled Claremont and Upland searching for a man who fled a traffic stop.

CLAREMONT, CA — Police helicopters searched both Claremont and Upland Monday for a suspect who fled a traffic stop. One was captured after the search, officials said.

Officers sought a suspect who was wearing a green and gray shirt, gray pants and a green hat. He fled the traffic stop on Sixth Street and College Avenue.

Residents were told to stay in their homes, though no schools were placed on lockdown.
