CLAREMONT, CA — The Hughes Community Center will host a COVID-19 vaccination clinic on May 26, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., for any Los Angeles County resident 12 and older.

The city plans to give the Pfizer vaccine at the clinic, though the type of vaccine is still subject to availability, city of Claremont officials said. The clinic is a partnership between the city and the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration recently authorized the use of the Pfizer vaccine for children as young as 12, according to The Associated Press. The Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines are still only administered to people 18 and older.
