The checkpoint will be set up at an undisclosed location in the city, according to police.
CLAREMONT, CA — The Claremont Police Department will hold a DUI checkpoint Sunday night in an undisclosed part of town.
The checkpoint will be held from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. and, in addition to checking for drivers who may be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, officers will also make sure motorists have their seatbelts on and are driving with a valid license, according to Claremont police.
Funding for the checkpoint is provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
