LA VERNE, CA — Authorities Tuesday identified a man who was killed in a vehicle crash on the Foothill (210) Freeway in La Verne.
Alexander Penafiel, 32, died at the scene of the crash that occurred about 6 p.m. Sunday on the westbound 210 Freeway at the Fruit Street offramp, according to the coroner's office and the California Highway Patrol. His home town was not known.
The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
