Homeless Man ID'd In Fatal 210 Rollover Crash

LA County Coroner's Office ID'd the man who crashed a stolen Hyundai and died on the westbound 210 Foothill freeway, Monday morning.

CLAREMONT, CA — LA County Coroner identified a homeless man as the person killed when the stolen car he was driving rolled over on the Foothill (210) Freeway in Claremont, Monday.

The crash was reported about 1:25 a.m., on the westbound 210 freeway, west of Baseline Road, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The 2015 Hyundai Azera careened into a roll and came to rest on its roof on the right shoulder of the freeway, according to the CHP.

Kenneth Moore, 29, who was homeless, died at the scene, the coroner's office reported. It was not clear how Moore commandeered the vehicle.

A witness reported the car appeared to have been driven recklessly prior to the crash, the CHP reported.
