“Our intention is to celebrate and honor the legacy and ministry of Joseph de Veuster, a.k.a. Saint Damien. This year, we hope to provide assistance to our students and families who are truly in need. Due to the effects of the pandemic, there has never been a greater demand for financial support for our families. Currently, nearly 1 in 3 of our students receive financial aid. We have increased financial assistance to an additional 51 families this year, increasing our unfunded assistance program by nearly 40 percent,” says Dr. Joseph Siegmund, president of Damien High School.

Lumen 21, Inc., a leading IT service provider offering managed services, security services, and cloud-based solutions to clients throughout Southern California, as well as an anonymous donor have partnered with Damien High School to kick off the campaign with a matching contribution of $10,000 to inspire more community friends to get involved.

The online event will culminate on May 10, the official Feast Day of Saint Damien. Any support regardless of how small or large will change lives. All funds will provide pathways to success for current and future Damien High School students who desire a private, Catholic education designed to prepare men of Service, Scholarship, and Faith to engage in global society.
