In January 2021, Sowing Seeds for Life moved out of our temporary home at the Pomona Fairplex and into very welcoming and familiar surroundings at the home of its Pomona pantry for the past seven years, Charisma Life Church on Arrow Highway. Pastor Boyett, Pastor Blonson, Pastor Mendoza, Mirla and Tom Bernasconi offered the nonprofit the use of their church parking lot so Sowing Seeds could continue to offer its food program in the drive -hrough format that had been so essential for more than 200,000 people in 2020.
The ability to continue the drive through distribution format and in a location that is less than a mile east from the Fairplex has been incredibly helpful for so many community residents who have come to rely upon the services of our program. In fact, there are more first time pantry clients than ever before.

The program is seeing more first-time clients than ever as the difficulties of 2020 and the onset of Covid-19 crisis continues on for so many people, and the nonprofit welcomes donations of time, food, and monetary donations of as little as $25, which can help feed a family of four for a week. Corporate donations and sponsorships of a pantry are also available at various levels. Click here for more information or to make a donation.
