Two Suspects Found In Stolen Car With Guns & Meth

This couple pulled over in La Verne, was discovered to be inside a stolen vehicle with large quantities of methamphetamine and a firearm.

LA VERNE, CA— A Los Angeles man and a Rancho Cucamonga woman were arrested and charged after a traffic stop on Monday, according to La Verne Police.

Officers in the area of Fairplex Drive and McKinley Avenue noticed the vehicle they were driving and stopped the car.

Inside, driver David Flores of Los Angeles and his passenger Jamie Tejada of Rancho Cucamonga, were found with a loaded TEC-22 firearm, a "large amount of methamphetamine," and "burglary tools," inside the vehicle, according to police.

Both Tejada and Flores were arrested without incident.

The pair have been charged with several gun related charges, possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of sales, possession of burglary tools, and outstanding warrants, according to the La Verne Police Department.
