Upland High dominates County History Day competition

Upland High School dominated the 28th annual San Bernardino County History Day competition, winning 25 individual and group awards – the highest for any school or district.t Summit High School on March 11.

History Day gives students a chance to compete in a variety of categories centered around a common historical theme. The them of this year’s event, held March 11 at Summit High School in Fontana, was “Taking a Stand in History.”

“We’re thrilled for our students and so proud of the entire Upland High School community for this tremendous showing,” said Dr. Nancy Kelly, Superintendent of the Upland Unified School District. “The remarkable students who participated in this event are a living testament to our unparalleled commitment to academics and our dedication to every single student, every single day.”
