Vigil Planned For Claremont Woman, Killed On Her Bicycle
A candlelight vigil for a bicyclist struck and killed over the weekend was planned for Monday night in Claremont.

CLAREMONT, CA — A candlelight vigil was planned for Claremont resident Leslie Pray, killed while riding her bicycle over the weekend. Friends, family and all who have been touched by Pray's death were invited to the 1900 block of North Mills Avenue on Monday at 7 p.m.
Claremont police, investigating the incident, determined that the driver who struck Pray did so on purpose they told us.
Sandra Wickstead, 61, a Claremont resident, was driving a green 1996 Mercury Tracer wagon when she allegedly veered toward Pray and struck her with the car, according to Claremont police reports.

Pray was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Wickstead was arrested and was being held on $2,000,000 bail, according to the police department.

Police still seek witnesses who observed the driving behavior of the driver before being involved in the fatal collision.
