Birthright Non-Profit to Host Fundraising Garage Sale Saturday

The non-profit organization Birthright of Concord will be raising money for its program this weekend with a garage sale and $5 barbecue lunch. 

All of the money raised will go to support Birthright's mission to help women who are facing unplanned pregnancies. The organization provides free counseling, pregnancy testing and education on pregnancy, childbirth and parenting, as well as community referrals for medical coverage, housing, food, social services and prenatal care.

The sale takes place 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, at 3106 Clayton Rd. According to the organizers, shoppers can expect to find bargains on an array of "goodies" from furniture to children's clothing.

There will be a $5 barbecue lunch starting at noon and a "heavily-discounted 'Grand Finale' sale from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Other garage sales in Concord this weekend include a sale on Bonari Court from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
