Bomb Threat Investigated At El Dorado Middle School In Concord
The campus was evacuated as officers and bomb-detection K9s searched for an explosive device, a Concord police lieutenant said.
CONCORD, CA — The search for a possible bomb on the campus of El Dorado Middle School ended around 11:30 a.m. Thursday when no suspicious device was found, the Concord Police Department said in an update.
Just after 9:30 a.m. Thursday, someone called to report there was a bomb at the campus, Concord police Lt. Robert told Patch.
Police and fire personnel responded and evacuated the school at 1751 West St., near Concord High School, Westwood Elementary School and Summit High School.

As of 10:45 a.m., no explosive device was found but four bomb-detecting dogs were searching the campus out of an abundance of caution, Robert said.
At 11:34 a.m., the Concord Police Department said in a tweet that the search of El Dorado Middle School had concluded and no suspicious devices were located.

At approximately 0939 hours, El Dorado Middle School, 1751 West St, received a phone call of a bomb threat. The school was evacuated. Four bomb-detection K9’s are currently searching the school. Please stay out of the area until a further update regarding clearance has been made.
