Brush Fire Burns In Clayton

Contra Costa County Fire Protection District crews remained on scene at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday.

CLAYTON, CA — Crews with the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District responded to a brush fire early Wednesday evening in Clayton.

The vegetation fire was reported around 6 p.m. at Peacock Creek Drive and Clayton Road, and crews remained at the scene as of 6:45 p.m.
