Comment of the Day: 'Move the Carnival Away From My House'
The Family Carnival at Concord High is too much noise and disruption for a residential area, says one local. Do you agree? Share your thoughts.

Bright lights, music, children screaming in delight while whizzing around on rides — the Concord Family Carnival was in town this past weekend, and didn't the neighbors just know it.
A resident in the area by Concord High where the carnival takes place says that the noise going on all weekend has been extremely disruptive. It started Thursday, when the sound of the carnival being constructed went on until 3 a.m., she said in a post on the Concord Patch Facebook page. Then, on Sunday, the carnival was being loudly broken down well after midnight.
"I get that they need to raise money and I support that but no one told the high school to put their solar panels up on the NON RESIDENTIAL side of the parking lot when they knew they have been having a carnival there for the last 38 years," she said. "This carnival needs to be relocated somewhere else. Even behind the school would be more appropriate."
