Con Fire Invites Public To Fire Prevention Open House
Heat and theatrical smoke will be used to simulate a real situation.

CONCORD, CA — The Contra Costa County Fire Protection District is hosting a Fire Prevention Open House Saturday in Concord that will feature a realistic fire-escape trailer demonstration.
The event, which is scheduled to take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, will use heat and theatrical smoke to simulate a real situation, according to the fire district.
Residents of all ages are invited to attend the open house to be held at Con Fire's Training Grounds at 2945 Treat Blvd. in Concord.

The purpose of the demonstration is to teach the public about techniques to safely assess house fire conditions and escape dangerous fires.
