Concord Gets a Little Bit Country in Free Concert Thursday

The June 13 concert in the 2013 "Music and Market Series"s features The Jessica Caylyn Band — country music with "grit, groove, and catchy hooks." 

Singer Jessica Caylyn is "an unstoppable cocktail of sassy confidence, vocal power, and fearless determination," according to her website. The Antioch native has been performing around the Bay Area since she was 10 years old. In 2010, she formed The Jessica Caylyn Band and in April 2011 released her first EP, "On the Edge."

The concerts as part of the Music and Market series are free and run from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
