Locals picnicked on the grass or browsed the farmers' market Thursday evening as the Concord High Jazz Band showed off their skills on stage.
The first concert of the annual Music and Market Series brought a crowd of families to Todos Santos Plaza. Children danced while parents relaxed to the sound of jazz, including a tribute to Dave Brubeck, performed by Concord High students.
