Concord Man Dies In Motorcycle Crash

CONCORD, CA — A 50-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash in Concord early Saturday morning, according to the Contra Costa County coroner's office. The man, identified by the coroner's office as Concord resident William Williams, died in a crash reported around 2 a.m. Saturday on Mohr Lane near Del Rio Circle.

Williams crashed his motorcycle into a car, according to the coroner's office. More information about the crash was not immediately available from Concord police.

A GoFundMe page created by Williams' niece Ashlee Pestana is seeking to raise funds for funeral expenses.

Williams, who went by the name Billy, "was a passionate man who loved to ride his motorcycle, and especially loved his two children," Pestana wrote.

The page in memory of Billy Williams had raised more than $1,600 as of Monday morning.
