A body found inside a parked car in Concord Thursday has been identified as a Hayward man, according to police and the Contra Costa County coroner's office.
A county coroner's deputy identified 50-year-old Nikolay Galushka as the man police say was found inside a car in a residential parking lot in the 700 block of Oak Grove Road around 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
Officers were dispatched to the parking lot on reports of an unresponsive person inside a vehicle, police Lt. Tim Runyon said.
Runyon said the man, who was found sitting in the driver's seat, may have been dead for several days before he was found.
No obvious signs of foul play have been found in connection with the death, the lieutenant said.
