A 27-year-old Brentwood man died in the three-vehicle crash.

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA — A driver who died in a three-vehicle collision Tuesday on Vasco Road near Byron was identified by the Contra Costa County coroner's office as 26-year-old Brentwood man, Bryan Shuck.

At 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Shuck was driving a white Chevrolet pickup truck northbound on Vasco Road when he veered over the center solid double yellow lines and into the southbound lane where he collided head-on with a box truck, the California Highway Patrol said.

As the box truck spun out, it collided with a GMC SUV that had been traveling right behind it, according to the CHP.
