Fire Breaks Out In Stable At Contra Costa County Event Center
Water supply was a challenge while fighting the fire in a "very large" horse stable at the former fairgrounds, officials with Con Fire said.

ANTIOCH, CA — Firefighters remained at the scene of a fire Tuesday evening that was burning in a horse stable at the Contra Costa County Event Center in Antioch.
The blaze was reported at 4:33 p.m. Tuesday in a very large, 200-foot-long horse stable at the former county fairgrounds at West 18th and L streets, the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District said.
Because water supply was a challenge, additional equipment was dispatched to provide more water, Con Fire said on Twitter.
