Friends and Family Remember Darrell Parcher

Friends and family are mourning Darrell Parcher, who died Thursday at the age of 78. 

Born in Oregon, Darrell was an air traffic controller in the Air Force and spent the bulk of his professional career as a financial manager, according to Legacy.com.

Darrell is surivived by four daughters and 11 grandchildren. He is also survived by his wife of 22 years, Elaine, and her two children and two grandchildren. 

Gifts in Darrell's memory can be made to Hospice of the East Bay at 3470 Buskirk Ave., Pleasant Hill, CA 94523.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 13 at 1 p.m. at Walnut Creek Presbyterian Church, 1801 Lacassie Ave., Walnut Creek.
