Krispy Kreme To Give Free Doughnuts To Health Workers In Concord

Starting Monday, Krispy Kreme is giving out free doughnuts every week to healthcare workers across the country.

CONCORD, CA — Krispy Kreme is stepping up amid the ongoing new coronavirus crisis with a sweet gesture for health workers on the frontlines of the battle. On Mondays, the national doughnut chain is giving out a free dozen of its Original Glazed doughnuts to health workers, including in Concord.

“Just go to a Krispy Kreme drive-thru, tell us what you need and show us your employer badge. That’s it,” the company said in a news release Wednesday. “Pick up some free dozens on the way to work for you and your colleagues, or maybe a free dozen on your way home to a family after a long shift.”

The beginning of the promotion from Krispy Kreme aligns with National Doctors’ Day — March 30— and runs through of National Nurses Week, which is May 6-12.
